This couple wanted to make their home look like an old cabin from the outside and ultra contemporary from the inside. Reclaimed Redwood was used on the exterior of the home. This project was the essence of living large in a small space. The interior walls stopped short of the ceiling and were capped with live edge wood from Alder trees. This created a beautiful transom like space between the rooms. The wood used throughout the interior of the home was reclaimed and milled from trees that had fallen down at Golden Gate Park. Even the Master Bathroom vanity top was made from an Alder tree and had a live edge finish.
