Award Winning Bathroom Remodel
What started out as a cramped, outdated bathroom, soon was transformed into a stunning spa retreat. The wet area alone occupied the majority of the footprint from the original bathroom. A recessed shower floor was chosen in place of a standard shower curb to avoid the requirements for a secondary drain. A cedar wood wall with accent lighting provides a calming backdrop to the room and further showcases the clean lines of the contemporary freestanding tub. This open concept wet area design provides unobstructed views of the elegant tile work and luxurious shower fixtures, including a rainhead shower with four tilting tiles. Careful thought was put into the layout and flow of the space. The toilet was hidden behind the sink wall to create privacy while maintaining the open concept of the room. The flooring was a suspended metal polymer floor giving the appearance of iridescent metal floating in concrete. This was truly spectacular in low light settings. The final product received a local 2013 Contractor of the Year Award and a 2014 Regional Contractor of the Year Award in the category of Bathroom Remodel under $30,000 from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). We are very proud of this project and continue to work with this client on additional projects.
